News - Stephen Turrell appointed Director, April 2015

We are pleased to announce Stephen's appointment as a Director of the firm. This is in recognition of his increasing responsibility and leadership in our Topographical Survey and Land Registry provisions where Stephen has worked with us as an Associate for nearly 10 years (as of April 2015).

Stephen's dual-expertise in land surveying and computing science has been a considerable asset in the ever more technical arena of Geomatics where he has incorporated and utilised GNSS RTK, High Definition Surveying (laser scanning) and other new technologies to enhance our surveying provisions and led the development of our in-house surveying and GIS software.

His previous experience in Geomatics/Geospatial software has included developing systems for the Land Registry, Valuation Office Agency and Registers of Scotland.

He is qualified with PGDip Surveying with distinction from the University College of Estate Management and is professionally qualified with AssocRICS Land & Engineering. He is also qualified with a BSc(hons) Computing Science from Staffordshire and PGDip Software Engineering from Oxford. He is a Chartered Engineer, Chartered IT Professional and Fellow of the British Computer Society.

Stephen now manages the Topographical and Land Registry survey provision.
